Really interesting video but I disagree on one point and that’s about not studying the tactics of internet marketing. I agree that strategies are the most important thing but when you are first starting out, like most people watching these kind of videos, you don’t have the money to pay experts. People who have mastered the tactics of FB advertising are not cheap, they are Expensive. You have to try and save money and do it yourself. You need whatever capital you do have to actually pay for the advertisements on FB, Google etc. Not to mention, the strategies are pretty easy to understand. You could literally make a check list for this kind of thing. What’s your why, what’s your irresistible offer, social proof, scarcity, what’s your USP etc… I could explain this kind of stuff to anybody and they‘d get it. Setting up a complicated retargeting funnel on Facebook where you understand all the numbers….that takes actual know how. You’re not going to understand how to do that by watching a bunch of Youtube videos. You probably need to take a course to have any chance of succeeding at something like this. The devil really is in the details not in all the surface level theory. I’m not trying to say strategy is unimportant but you do need to have a good understanding of of the tactics or you’re just not going to be able to do anything without lots of capital where you can just pay somebody to do everything for you. That’s not a realistic option for most people.

Do you want to connect, I run Facebook ads and it’s working preety well

    • @Lapestebubbonica says:

Yeah but tactics changes everytime. How you do fb ads IS NOT how you did it 2 years ago.

10 years ago people used only google and you had super cheap clicks.

Tactics change every 5 years and even every 2 years a lot. If you learn a skill (sales, marketing etc…) and you learn the principles you will only get better and better and compound your knowledge.

Principles gets you 80% of results with 20% of the effort. Tactics gives you 20% of results with 80% of actions.

      That’s marketing in a nutshell:

      – Research / Market (avatar, competitors / current marketing made to prospects that works + past that worked)
      – Messaging / USP
      – Offer

all in a system with 3 processes:

      – attraction
      – education
      – sales
      – education + sales (upsells / increase LTV)

Ofc there’s more. Like Big Ideas for campaigns, headlines in ads etc…

But if you get the research – message and offer you make 80% of the money. (it depends on the awareness of the market)

    1) How to Get Super Rich in the Opportunity Market! 00:05:38

Understand front and backend (where you monetize clients who already bought in the frontend).

100% profit as you don’t pay for ads each sale again. The game is the backend.

Increase the lifetime value of the clients = more money = can spend more in ads = competition loses as they can’t outspend you for the leads/customers.

    2) Reason why advertising – John E. Kennedy (free online) 00:11:39

Always give a (believable) reason why. Why the offer is this way.

“Why, why, why” is a proof point. It creates trust if it’s believable.
